Muttahida Quami Movement founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that country 
facing external and internal challenges and urged the political forces of the 
country to shun their differences and unite on one platform to safeguard the 
integrity and sovereignty.

He offered the unconditional support of MQM for the unity of Pakistan’s political and relgio-political parties against the foreign and internal threats, In a telephonic address to the workers and volunteers of MQM at Khidmat-e-Khalq foundation office and including eighteen zones of MQM Sindh under the aegis of MQM's Khidmat-e-Khalq foundation (KKF) here on Sunday.
  
Mr. Altaf Hussain further offered that hundreds of thousands of volunteers of 
his party were ready for defence of Pakistan. He said that the political parties' adhesion to the MQM on the proposed unity was the 
need of the hours.

He said that China and Islamic Republic of Iran are not as friendlier to 
Pakistan 
as they were in the past. He said that relations with India were being strained 
and Russia had never come closer to us because of our U.S.-centric foreign 
policy during Cold War.
"Now the U.S. administration and Europe suspect our beloved Pakistan for 
non-cooperation in the war against terrorism," he said. The MQM founder added 
that 
Pakistan 
did its best in the war against terror but the U.S.-led-coalition of the willing 
doesn't acknowledge it.
 "Given 
this situation and rise in fanatic trends inside Pakistan, we all should 
demonstrate prudence and sagacity," he urged.

He regretted 
over the worst law and order situation of the tribal areas of NWFP Province and 
said that this kind of war like situation 
has threat 
for the integrity of the country.  
Mr. Altaf Hussain called upon the Pakistan's policy to rise above their 
political and parties' affiliations and make it clear that we all should be 
unite against the foreign aggression.
He asked the supporters of the MQM to extend donations for the MQM's KKF to 
encourage its relief activities. He said that the MQM and its KKF's share in the 
relief and rehabilitation activities for the earthquake victims of Kashmir and 
the NWFP was Rs.2.5 billion. He said that till now, the MQM and Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation's relief for the 
victims and survivors of the flood in Sindh and Balochistan amounted at Rs.750 
million.

historical Convention in Punjab was a big success of the party and proof of its 
growing popularity among the masses and added that 
after the 
historical Convention of MQM Punjab workers,  anti-MQM elements  passing 
sleepless night.
