Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain while strongly condemning the killing of 
veteran politician and leader of Jamhoori Watan Party Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti 
along with his grandson Brahamdagh Bugti and others during an action of the 
security forces in Kohlu, Balochistan; has expressed his grief and heartfelt 
sorrow over the tragic death of Nawab Bugti. He termed the incident as a 
terrible tragedy and said that we share the sorrow and grief with the family 
members of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, his tribe and the people of Balochistan. He 
said that from the very first day MQM made it clear that army operation and use 
of State force has never resolved any issues. The MQM has opposed the army 
action in Balochistan and always stressed to resolve all the issues through 
dialogue because use of force further deteriorates the situation.
