HAQ PARAST CANDIDATES WINNING THE LOCAL BODIES ELECTION
FROM SANGHAR, NAWABSHAH AND SAKRUND

Karachi – 28th August 2005: According to further results of the second phase of local bodies elections 37 Haq Parast candidates have been elected from Sanghar including one UC Nazim, one UC Naib Nazim whereas 15 councillors from Shahdadpur have been elected including 3 general councillors, 4 women councillors, 2 labour councillors, 2 women labour councillors and 2 minority councillors. Similarly, 11 Haq Parast councillors have been elected from Taluka Tanda Adam including 3 general councillors, 2 general councillors and 3 women labour councillors. Moreover 2 from Taluka Sanghar, 2 from Taluka Jam Nawaz, 3 from Taluka Sanjhoro and 2 from Taluka Khepro have been elected. From District Nawabshah 5, Taluka Sakrund 2 Haq Parast Councillors have been elected. In total 77 Haq Parast candidates have been elected from District Nawabshah.

 

ONE UC NAIB NAZIM AND SEVEN COUNCILLORS FROM BALOCHISTAN AND
FOUR HAQ PARAST COUNCILLORS FROM PUNJAB

Lahore – 27th August 2005: The Haq Parast candidates have been successful from Punjab and Balochistan as well. According to details, from UC 25 Quetta Chaman Phatak Anwar Ahmed has been elected as UC Nazim and the Panel supported by Haq Parast has also been elected. Other Haq Parast Councillors elected are: Manzoor Ahmed from UC14 Saeedabad, Abdul Razzaq from UC16 Nasirabad, Women Councillor Ameena Chengazi from UC9 Major Mohammad Ali Shaheed, Labour Councillor Saeed Mehdi, from UC38 East Women Councillor Shah Jehan, from UC7 Faqeer Mohammad Road Women Councillor Najma Bibi, Women Councillor Parveen Begum from UC34 Railway Housing Society. From UC35 Satellite Town the panel supported by Haq Parast has won.

From Punjab, four Haq Parast Councillors have been elected, i.e. 3 from Faisalabad and one from Jaranwala. From Faisalabad Labour Councillor Mohammad Saeed from UC227, General Councillor Sheikh Waseem Ahmed from UC228, General Councillor Manzoor Gujjar from UC252 and from Jaranwala General Councillor Munawwar Gujjar from UC43. To date 29 Haq Parast candidates have been elected from Punjab and 8 from NWFP.

 

HAQ PARAST PANEL SUCCESSFUL FROM HYDERABAD,
 LATIFABAD, SUKKUR, NAWABSHAH AND OTHER CITIES OF SINDH

Karachi – 27th August 2005: In the second phase of the local bodies elections, the Haq Parast Panel has been successful in various cities of Sindh. According to information received to date, from the 52 Union Councils of District Hyderabad, the Nazims and Naib Nazims of Haq Parast Panel have been elected in 32 Union Councils. From 20 Union Councils of Hyderabad City, Nazims and Naib Nazims of Haq Parast Panel have been elected from 17 Union Councils. From 17 Union Councils of Taluka Latifabad, Nazims and Naib Nazims of Haq Parast Panel have been elected from 15 Union Councils. Moreover, from Hyderabad District Taluka Qasimabad, 2 Haq Parast Councillors have been elected. Similarly, from 11 Union Councils of Sukkur City in District Sukkur, Nazims and Naib Nazims of Haq Parast Panel have been elected from 6 Union Councils. From 13 Union Councils of Nawabshah City, Nazims and Naib Nazims of Haq Parast Panel have been elected from 5 Union Councils. From Nawabshah 5 UC Nazims, 5 Naib Nazims, 23 general councillors, 10 women labour councillors and 6 minority councillors totalling 69 Haq Parast candidates have been elected. From District Naushero Feroze Mehrabpur one Haq Parast Naib Nazim, One Naib Nazim Pad-Eden and in total 11 Councillors have been elected from Naushero Feroze.  From Taluka Sajawal Junejo in District Shahdadkot one UC Nazim, one UC Naib Nazim and 7 councillors have been elected whereas from Taluka Shahdadkot 4 Haq Parast Councillors have been elected. From Hyderabad rural area in Tandojam 8 Haq Parast Councillors have been elected. From Taluka Badin, District Badin, one Nazim and 7 Haq Parast Councillors have been elected. From Taluka Talhar, District Badin 2 Haq Parast Councillors and from Taluka Golarchi 2 Haq Parast Councillors and from Taluka Matli one Haq Parast Councillors have been elected.
