MQM (Overseas) Belgium Unit organised a peaceful demonstration of Mohajirs living in Belgium at European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium to protest against the unconstitutional and unfair judgement announced by the Accountability Court of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against Dr. Farooq Sattar in a false and fabricated case. Moreover, the participants also protested against the persistent injustices being committed by the successive governemnts of Pakistan including the present army regime upon the Mohajir population in Urban Sindh, southern Pakistan.

The participants were carrying MQM flags, placards and Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain's portrait.  During the demonstration the workers distributed leaflets and fliers among the passers by to apprise them about the situation in Urban Sindh. The placards contained following messages:

Don't support army rule
Wake up, Wake up -- UNO wake up
Release, release -- Farooq Sattar
We want justice
Leader of the Nation -- Altaf Hussain

At the end of the protest demonstration a delegation of MQM office bearers and Pakistani Mohajirs living in Belgium submitted a petition to the officials of the European Parliament.
