The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has appealed to the business community, industrialists, transporters associations and well-to-do people of Punjab to extend co-operation for the successful organization of its public meeting “Stabilizing Pakistan” in Lahore on the 10^th April 2011. He said that the MQM is not the party of the big landlords and businessmen and the expenses of the party are borne through public donations. He declared that the public meeting at Quadafi Stadium Road will prove to be a turning point in the history of the country. He asked the people to participate wholeheartedly in the meeting and give financial assistance as well for meeting the expanses. He appealed the transporters community to give concession to the people on the 10^th April so that they may attend the public meeting in large numbers. MQM TO EMERGE AS A NATIONAL PARTY: DR FAROOQ SATTAR

 Deputy Convener of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar has said that the MQM will emerge as a leading national political party in the coming days. He said this while speaking at a big public meeting in Mianwali that was attended by hundreds of local people. Former City Nazim of Mianwali Haji Abdul Karim, chief of Hathi Khel tribe of Mianwali Hakim Khan, lieutenant colonel (retired) Abdullah Niazi, president of Mianwali Business Association Rab Nawaz Khan and office-bearers of several other trade organizations announced to join the MQM on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion the local dignitaries that joined the MQM said that only the MQM can pull the country out of the quicksand of the problems. They said that all other political parties have failed miserably in solving the problems of the people and only the revolutionary message of the MQM can bring positive changes in the system of the country.

Dr Farooq Sattar said that the spread of the message of the MQM in the country was temporarily stymied because of the vitriolic propaganda but the philosophy and ideology of MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has finally reached in every corner of the country by demolishing all the barricades and hindrances. He said that the MQM has become a symbol of hope for the people of Pakistan and they are coming in its fold in big numbers. He said that the time is not far when the MQM will emerge as a leading political force in the country. He said that Mr Altaf Hussain has demonstrated through his policies and actions that he is the true friend of the poor and middle class people.
