Altaf Hussain
appeals Punjab people to support MQM to get rid of feudal system
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain
said that the people of Punjab will prove that they want an end to the feudal
system littered with oppression and corruption.
In a special video message for the people of Punjab, Altaf Hussain said power is
concentrated in a few hands under the feudal system. He said Pakistan was not a
country for a select few but for 180 million people.
He claimed that Punjab will come forth and show that it wants an end to family
politics, inflation and unemployment.
He asked the people of Punjab to attend the public meeting of the MQM which is
going to held in Lahore on Sunday and join its struggle against corruption,
heritage politics and status quo in the country.
He said that people would have to prove that they wanted to get rid of feudal
system and corruption. He said that it was unfortunate that only few families
had been ruling the country for 63 years and the masses were merely witnessing
this musical chair. The dynastic politics had ruined the country, he added.
Altaf Hussain urged the people to support MQM for the creation of a society in
which unemployment, hunger and lawlessness would not haunt anyone and rich and
poor would be treated equally.
