Senior Member of MQM UK Shamim Hashmi passed away

Shamim Hashmi, elder worker of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) United Kingdom has died after a long illness on Friday night 06th April 2007 in London. He was 75 years old. According to the details, Shamim Hashmi was suffering from a serious Cardiac problem and was hospitalized for one and half month ago in a West Middlesex Hospital London. He was an active and senior worker of Muttahida Quami Movement United kingdom.
He has left behind four sons and one daughter. His Namaz-e-Janza will be held in Hounslow Mosque, Wellington Road, Hounslow and He will be buried in Hatton Cross cemetery London on Sunday, 08 April 2007 after Zuhar prayer.

Founder & leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has expressed his sorrow and grief over death of Shamim Hashmi and said that the death of Shamim Hashmi is a great loss to MQM. In his condolence message to his family members Mr. Hussain prayed to the Almighty Allah to bless the soul and grant solace to his family members. Moreover MQM Co-ordination Committee and workers of MQM United Kingdom  also expressed their sorrow and grief over death of Shamim Hashmi.
