According to
first information, today at around 5 a.m., heavy contingent of
Police and CIA, in four mobile vans and two armoured personnel
carriers nos. 148 and 126, private vehicles used by the CIA
personnel and several Hyundai cars, raided the Employment Office
of Muttahida Quami Movement at Nine Zero, Azizabad, Karachi. The raiding party entered into the office by breaking the front door. They ransacked the office and confiscated several documents (applications for employment) and other office equipment from the scene. This Employment Office was used to receive applications from general public during the period while the MQM was in coalition government.
Since the
imposition of Governor Rule in Sindh, this is the third massive
raid conducted by the law enforcement agencies at Nine Zero, the
MQM Head Office at Azizabad, Karachi.Further details awaited
