Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) ‘s supremo Altaf Hussain while expressing grave concern over rampant assassinations of clerics and religious scholars in metropolitan city Karachi doubted that the assassinations were pre-planned and part of some venomous scheme. He strongly condemned the assassinations.
The MQM founder and leader Altaf Hussain has in his statement said that the assassinations of 3 learned scholars in Karachi is condemnable.
The assassins are enemies of peace and tranquillity. They are savage and void of sense and respect for humanity.He expressed deep concern over the assassinations of scholars and said that these seem to be part of a planned scheme.
Hussain appealed to the people to be alert, the scholars and the people to show unity against elements hostile to peace and religious harmony.
He urged them to figure out safety committees.He demanded the government to ensure complete protection to the scholars.
