Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain said that time has come for a unity of oppressed nations in Pakistan and very soon the oppressed Balouchs, Sindhis, Pashtoons, Seraikis, Hazarwals and Mohajirs would start their struggle for the retrieval of the usurped rights in Pakistan. These oppressed nations would soon start their combined struggle under one platform and for a united goal.
This he said while speaking over the phone to eminent Balouch rights activists and leaders including Mama Balouch (International Voice for Balouch Missing Persons), Muneer Mengal (Balouch Voice Association), eminent Balouch rights activist Prof. Naila Qadri and Bilal Balouch.
Balouch leaders on the occasion felicitated Mr. Hussain on his 65th anniversary. Mr. Hussain reciprocated to the leaders of Balouch nation with sentiments of high esteem and respect and remembered Balouch martyrs in his prayers he offered on the occasion.
He said that the oppressed nations in Pakistan particularly Balouch, Sindhi, Pashtoon, Seraiki, Hazarwals and Mohajirs are a constant victim of state oppression and atrocities and executions at the hands of Pakistan’s entirely criminal and ghoulish Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
It was the ISI that released serious threats to life of Mr. Mama Qadeer Balouch on his barefoot “Walk around Pakistan” movement but the ISI failed to leave him intimidated. Balouch mothers and sisters inscribed a new tale of valour and courage during that bare foot march. Mr. Mama Qadeer had set up a protest camp seeking attention of the authorities for the safe return of missing Balouch nationals, which is still at work on day 3100. Likewise, Mr. Muneer Mengal, Prof. Naila Balouch and Mr. Bilal Balouch are round the clock engaged in struggle for the rights of Balouch on which they deserve due applause.
Mr. Hussain said that he has been in exile for the past 27 years and has never been away even for a day from the struggle for the rights of Mohajirs and never bowed his head before the ISI and corrupt Generals of Pakistan army. The ISI executed his brother Nasir Hussain and nephew Arif Hussain solely to pursue him to accept the ISI’s notes and commands and would never do it in future.
“I will keep supporting Balouch in their struggle for their rights”, he assured them. “The demonic military is committing same crimes in Karachi and Hyderabad they are doing in Balouchistan.”
He said that there is no rift among the Balouch and the Mohajir but the ISI and the military establishment had under a planned scheme tried to create deadly confrontation among them but they failed to achieve their vested goals. The military establishment in connivance with the criminals of Pakistan People’s Party incited violence in which Balouch and Mohajir nations fought with each other.
He told them that Pakistan military had on gun point occupied Balouchistan while Makran, Kharan, Lasbella and Kalat were Free States. The ghoulish military launched a genocidal military operation in Balouchistan in 1948 and military dictator Ayub and civil military dictator Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had launched military crackdowns in Balouchistan.
He said that the ISI, military establishment and corrupt Generals are directly involved in genocide of oppressed Balouch, Mohajir and other nations in Pakistan. He said he would not quit his struggle for the rights of Mohajir and other oppressed nations.
Mr. Hussain said that he is sad on witnessing that the Sindhis are without a dynamic leadership for the retrieval of their usurped rights and that he has always been urging upon the Sindhis to produce a leader in them but they are practically hostage at the hands of Waderas (Feuds).
Mr. Mama Qadeer while speaking to Mr. Hussain said that Balouchs and Mohajirs are alike victims of state oppression and genocide at the hands of state’s security forces. Hence, their goals are one and same.
He said that he has been facing the ISI with utmost courage for the past ten years. “Balouchs won’t allow any looter like China to stay in Balouchistan under the cover of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.” “We will never let this CPEC complete and become successful.”
He told Mr. Hussain that the enemy to the Balouch and the Mohair is one and same and the enemy could not be defeated until both launch a united struggle.
He assured Mr. Hussain that whenever he would visit Karachi, he would pay a visit to the Martyrs’ Monument of MQM in Azizabad and would pay them a rich tribute.
Prof. Naila Qadri told Mr. Hussain that ISI has been playing a tricky game in areas where Balouch, Pashtoon and Mohajir reside peacefully. The ISI has always conspired to keep them at war with each other.
She said that, “The common enemy, the ISI. MI, Rangers, Frontier Corpse, Maritime Agency and the military establishment are butchering the innocent Balouch, Pashtoon and Mohajir.” Time has come for a united struggle against a common enemy. Time has come to get rid of the military establishment’s tyranny and tie their hands behind.”
Mr. Muneer Mengal told Mr. Hussain that the way he has showed respect for the Balouchs was inspiring and that Mr. Hussain is the light tower for the oppressed nations in Pakistan.
“Mr. Hussain to keep Balouchs in his circle, hug them and come forward for guiding them so that the oppressed nations should reunite and rejuvenate their struggle for the rights,” he said.
Mr. Bilal Balouch also talked to Mr. Hussain and thanked him on raising his voice for the Balouchs.
