MQM SLAMS SECURITY FORCES FOR KIDNAPPING ANOTHER ACTIVIST YASIR ALI
LONDON. February 9, 2018: The security forces have kidnapped another MQM activist Mr. Yasir Ali working from MQM Qasba-Aligarh Sector-Unit 131 of the Movement. The security forces and the paramilitary Rangers personnel broke into his house in plain clothes, which is an act of violation of country’s law and dragged him out and took him along in the presence of his family members. The security forces showed no arrest warrant duly approved and issued by a Magistrate, which is yet another violation of country’s law and is a proof that they do not respect the law and any legal formality and are running a state of their own within the state. The family of the affected MQM activist was not even told about the reason as under what charges he was arrested. He has not yet been formally announced among the arrested and thus has been enforced to disappear.
The MQM Coordination Committee while condemning the security forces for their blatant violations of the law and human rights said that the security forces are conducting a genocidal military operation against MQM and Mohajirs but still Mohajirs are clinging fast with the leader of the Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain.
They said that the traitors of MQM and Mohajirs are assisting the tyrant security forces of the country for eliminating the MQM and they are the culprits of the Mohajir Nation on whose tip-offs, the security forces are breaking into the houses and kidnapping them.
It said the security forces are known for their unlawful actions and in recent past days they had kidnapped Zair Arain from his residence in F. B. Area, Coordination Committee ex-member Akram Rajput from Korangi area and Ashraf Noor after he was enroute to his house from anti-terrorist court where he had appeared to defend him against fake charges from the security forces as part of grudge against the MQM and that these very security forces had also executed one of senior MQM leader Prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif in custody.
The Coordination Committee appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice on atrocities from the security forces as he has taken many for the prevention of injustices against the common men. It further appealed to the international rights organisation to take notice of state-sponsored injustices and atrocities on MQM activists and Mohajir Nation in Pakistan.
