COMMUNICATION AND TRANSPORT
In order to make
communication and transport easier and for industrial and social
progress it is essential that the transport system is improved
and made safer. To achieve this, the transport system in the
cities must change over to modern modes. The condition of roads
must improve and new bridges and flyovers should be built. The
road building methods should be improved and new roads and
highways be constructed.
The railway system in the country is in a desperate condition. It is necessary that revolutionary changes are brought about to the entire railway system. In short, following the pattern of the developed countries of the world, a massive transport program should be adopted, on the lines of the Mass Transit Program. The shipping industry in the country should also be promoted so that they may be able to build more ships.
