SACRIFICE
FOR A GREATER CAUSE IS AN ESTABLISHED TRADITION OF PROPHET
IBRAHIM– ALTAF HUSSAIN
11
February 2003
The
MQM leader Mr. Altaf Hussain while congratulating the Islamic
Ummah on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha said that sacrifice for a
greater cause is an established tradition of Hazrat Ibrahim.
He pointed out that Hazrat Ibrahim did not hesitate
even to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismail to please God
Almighty. This is
a clear message to the entire Muslim Nation that in the cause
of God one must not flinch from any sacrifice.
He congratulated the people of Pakistan and asked them
not to forget their brethren who are facing hardships and to
help them as far as possible.
Mr Hussain offered Eid Greetings to the families of MQM
martyrs and the disappeared workers also to the workers who
are languishing in prisons, the displaced families and those
who have been sentenced to death.
He offered his heartfelt gratitude to all of them and
reassured them that soon we shall be in a position to
celebrate Eid in a big way. |
