JOINT SESSION OF CO-ORDINATION COMMITTEE APPEALS TO THE
BRITISH GOVERNMENT FOR THE SECURITY OF Mr. ALTAF HUSSAIN

LONDON: 26TH September 2010

A joint meeting of MQM Co-ordination Committee held in Khursheed Hall, Azizabad and International Secretariat London has appealed to the British Government to provide adequate security to MQM Founder Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain and arrest the murderers MQM Convener Dr. Imran Farooq. The meeting denounced the steps taken by anti MQM forces to finish MQM and eliminate its Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain.

A fierce and ruthless operation was started resulting extra judicial killings more than 15000 workers of MQM. Mr. Altaf Hussain’s elder brother Mr. Nasir Hussain and his nephew Mr. Arif Hussain were also ruthlessly murdered.Despite all the State repression and injustices MQM could not be finished. Now national and international forces that are working against the interests of people have become active and the murder of MQM Convener Dr. Imran Farooq was a link of the same conspiracy. The Co-ordination Committee noted with concern that the analyses and reports published in national and international media are a clear indication as to which party and personality is being targeted for the murder.

The Co-ordination Committee said that after the murder of Dr. Imran Farooq, a nefarious design has been made to malign the MQM and its Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain that has trigged a wave of concern amongst millions of MQM supporters and workers worldwide.  The Co-ordination Committee reposed full confidence in the leadership of Mr. Altaf Hussain and resolved that they would remain committed and continue the struggle under the able leadership.

The meeting warned the forces working against MQM that the workers and office bearers of MQM had faced difficult times in the past as well and they would not be budged from their Leader howsoever the difficult situation may be. They said that each worker of MQM was standing firmly behind its leader with determination and firm resolve.

In the end the meeting prayed for the soul of Dr. Imran Farooq and the long life and health of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
