IF MQM’S GOVERNMENT EXISTED THEN IT WOULD HAVE SEVERED ALL RELATIONS
WITH USA, ITS ALLIED WESTERN AND NATO COUNTRIES ON THE INHUMAN SENTENCE

If MQM’s Government existed then it would have severed all relations with USA, its allied western and NATO countries on the inhuman sentence by American Court to Daughter of Nation Dr Aafia Siddiqui. This was stated by MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain while addressing a condolence session in memory of MQM Convenor Dr Imran Farooq Shaheed at the MQM Head Office Nine Zero in Karachi. He stated that the enemies snatched away our beloved, unwavering, determined, devoted, firm and great leader Dr Imran Farooq by ruthlessly murdering him. He prayed to Almighty Allah to acknowledge and accept the sacrifices of Dr Imran Farooq, his struggle, his devotion, commitment and martyrdom, grant him highest esteem and solace to his companions, family members and supporters of the MQM.

During the British Raj in Indo-Pak Subcontinent several independence movements began against the British Rule and the leaders and workers of these movements offered the sacrifices of their lives and properties to free their motherland. As a result the people of subcontinent were freed from British Rule but failed to reap the fruits of freedom. It has been 63 years since the independence of Pakistan and India but the poor and deprived still wait for their freedom from poverty and hunger. Many sacrifices were offered for the independence movement but no one was able to create an organisation like the disciplined and organised Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM). Despite all the State oppression and a long list of sacrifices, the MQM has continued to prosper and spread its message, which is unparallel in this history of the subcontinent. For the past 32 years MQM has been struggling for the country’s sustenance and respectable life for the poor and middleclass including the peasants, farmers and labourers, therefore, the country’s Establishment and powerful institutions unleashed a reign of terror upon the MQM with a view to wipe it from the face of earth. MQM leaders, office bearers, workers, and supporters even the family members were terrorised and oppressed. Thousands were extra-judicially executed, maimed for life and thousands were made homeless. As a result of the determination and resolve of the MQM workers, the Movement is not only alive but by the Grace of Allah Almighty it is flourishing.

Several conspiracies have been hatched against the MQM; money was spent from the national exchequer to buy the conscience of a few members of the party. They were made enemies of their own movement, provided with funds, arms and a license to kill, loot and plunder. As a result of the sacrifices of the MQM workers and because of their determination and commitment the conspiracies to eliminate the righteous movement failed and with every passing day the righteous message of the MQM has spread in every nook and corner of the country. All available methods were used to malign the image of the MQM including malicious allegations by the Establishment, its agents, and those on the payroll including the political and religious parties. This was done with a view to stop the deprived and oppressed people of Pakistan from coming close to the MQM.

On the eve of 16^th September 2010, the conspirators through their agents brutally murdered our beloved, intelligent, intellectual, resolute and determined leader Dr Imran Farooq. At a time when awareness of peoples’ revolution on the lines of French Revolution was gaining popularity and acceptance amongst the poor and middleclass people of Pakistan then the conspiring elements have used this heinous tactics to damage the courage, resolve and determination of Altaf Hussain. This tragic incident has left a mark on my heart, which will remain with me till last breath. The Allah Almighty gave me courage and I am talking with you.

The unethical and dishonourable journalists and writers who are trying to hide the killers of Dr Imran Farooq and deliberately distorting the facts with a view to put the blame upon the MQM will not escape the wrath of the Allah Almighty. Their fate and the fate of their masters will be exemplary and serve as a warning. And those journalists and writers are bravely writing the truth, the Allah Almighty will reward them and their families.  Not only the MQM but also each and every true Pakistani salute them and pay tributes on their bravery and righteousness. Mr Hussain appealed to all the MQM members to help the party with any information that can lead towards the arrest of the killers of Dr Imran Farooq and any such information must be passed to me through the Coordination Committee. Expressing his complete faith in the Allah Almighty Mr Hussain said that one day the assassins of Dr Imran Farooq will be caught.

Citing the Holy Quran Mr Hussain said that the Allah Almighty does not change the condition of the nation unless they do not change their state themselves. The verse here is not referring to any so-called super power that will come to save the nation. May the super power be America or its ally the NATO countries, if in collusion with the Pakistani Agents they want to harm the MQM as they tried in the past, then I would like to warn them despite all their conspiracies the MQM will survive and the peoples’ revolution shall be the destiny of Pakistan, even if I am expelled from Britian or my British Nationality is withdrawn, it is my resolve that I will not surrender in front of anyone but the Almighty Allah. I will not bow down in front of any super power or its allied country or any other forces – I have and always will prefer to die with honour and live with dignity.

Addressing the people of Pakistan Mr Hussain said that it is time to wake up from their dreams, distinguish between the well-wishers and enemies otherwise they will be forgotten. Deploring the sentence by US Court to Dr Aafia Siddiqui he said, “I want to inform the entire country that if there was MQM’s Government in the country then on the unjust and inhuman sentence of 86 years to the Daughter of Nation Dr Aafia Siddiqui, the MQM would have immediately severed its relations with USA, its western allies and NATO countries. Even at the cost of IMF loan we would not have cared as several countries of this world do not compromise their integrity and national dignity. They prefer starvation to rid their countries from slavery and such nations are amongst the super powers of today. What was the sin of Dr Aafia Siddiqui? Why such a severe sentence? He demanded of the US President Obama and the US Government in strongest terms to set aside the sentence to Dr Aafia Siddiqui and free her immediately.
