ARMED TERRORIST MURDER MQM OFFICE BEARER KHALID KHAN IN KARACHI, PAKISTAN

On the evening of Sunday 28 September 2003, armed terrorists riding on a motorbike opened fire and brutally murdered Khalid Khan, an MQM office bearer of Unit 159 Sector Liaquatabad, in Karachi.  According to details, Khalid Khan was at a puncture shop having his motorcycle tyre fix at Nagan Chowrangi near Maria Apartments.  All of a sudden, two armed terrorists riding on motorbike arrived and opened fire upon him from point blank range.   As a result he died on the spot.  He was a young man of 21-years age and unmarried.

MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed sorrow and grief over the brutal murder of Khalid Khan.  Mr Hussain expressed his sympathies and extended his heartfelt condolences to the family members. He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant high status to martyr Khalid Khan and provide solace to aggrieved members of the family.

Convener of MQM Dr. Imran Farooq has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Khalid Khan. He said that during last few months, many MQM workers and office bearers have been brutally killed. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family members of decades. Dr. Imran Farooq demanded to the President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Mir Zafrullah Jamali, Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat Ul Ibad and Chief Minister of Sindh Sardar Ali Mohammad Mehar that take serious notice of brutal murder of Khalid Khan and arrest the killers.
