ALTAF HUSSAIN GRIEVED AT DISASTER CAUSED BY THE POWERFUL QUAKE IN TURKEY

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the disaster caused by the powerful earthquake in Turkey. In a letter to the Prime Minister of Turkey Mr Recep Tayyip Erdogan Mr Hussain said that the people of Pakistan and the worker of the MQM were with their Turkish brethren in the hour of grief and tragedy. He prayed Almighty Allah to rest the people killed in the earthquake in eternal peace and for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his grave concerns over the murderous attack on the Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir High Court Mr Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal by an unknown assailant. He condemned the incident and termed it an attack on the independence of judiciary. He urged the government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir to take serious notice of the incident and bring the culprits before the law. He also sympathized with the chief justice who had sustained bullet injuries and prayed for his speedy recovery
ALTAF HUSSAIN FELICITATES HINDU COMMUNITY ON DIWALI

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has felicitated the Hindu Community in Pakistan and throughout the world on the occasion of their religious festival diwali. In his message Mr Hussain said that every religion of the world teaches dignity to mankind and inter-faith harmony. He said that the followers of each religion should respect the sentiments and places of worship of each other. He said that the diwali was the festival of happiness and gaiety. The MQM joins with the followers of all faiths in their festivals as it is actively pursuing its goals of creating religious harmony and tolerance.
