DETAILS OF LIAQUAT ALI KHAN ASSASSINATION CASE SHOULD BE MADE PUBLIC: ALTAF HUSSAIN

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the sacrifice of the first prime minister of will not go in vain, and the revolution of the poor and middle class would definitely come in the country. Mr Hussain paid glowing tributes to Shaheed-i-Millat Khan Liaquat Ali Khan on his 60th death anniversary. He demanded of President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani to make the investigations of the assassination of Khan Liaquat Ali Khan public.

 

TELEPHONIC CONVERSATION BETWEEN ALTAF HUSSAIN AND REHMAN MALIK

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has had a telephonic conversation with the Federal Interior Minister Dr Rehman Malik in which the overall political situation in the country, and the law and order situation came under discussion. Talking to Mr Hussain Dr Malik said that the miscreants wanted to derail law and order situation in Karachi and Dera Ismail Khan. The miscreants were also making conspiracies to pit political parties against each other. There were intelligence reports that attacks would be carried out on the offices of political parties in order to create bad blood among them and for failing the law and order situation in the country particularly in Karachi. Dr Malik said that the government was taking steps for foiling the conspiracies, but it needed the support of all religious and political parties for the purpose.

Mr Hussain expressed grave concerns over the reports and said that the country was passing through a critical phase. It was time that all the political and religious parties get united to defeat the conspiracies of the miscreants. He appealed to the leaders of the People’s Party, Awami National Party, Jamat-i-Islami, Muslim League and Jamiat-i-Ulama-i-Islam to take the notice of the conspiracies to create a law and order situation in Dera Ismail Khan and Karachi.

Mr Hussain said that it was the need of the hour that all political and religious parties remain vigilant about the conspiracies to create disturbance. The political parties should defeat the conspiracies by interacting with each other and not getting provoked at the instigation of the enemies of peace.
