MQM held gatherings in remembrance of

Earthquake victims all over the country

In remembrance of the first anniversary of Earthquake victims in Azad Kashmir and NWFP, Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) held religious gathering in different cities of Pakistan including Azad Kashmir today.

In this regard the Quran Khawani and Fatiha Khawani were held at Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall Azizabad, Karachi. Members of MQM Co-ordination Committee, Provincial Ministers, Advisors, Members of Senate, National and Provincial Assembly, Town and UC Nazims, Councillors, Members different wings of MQM, office bearers and workers attended this congregation. Later they paid warm respects and homage to the Earthquake victims.

Congregations of Quran Khawani for the Earthquake victims were also arranged in the MQM Zonal offices in Sindh Province, Central Office of MQM Punjab in Lahore, all district offices in Punjab, Mansehra, NWFP and Balochistan. Members of the National Assembly, office bearers and workers were attended these gatherings.
