SOYAM OF DR IMRAN FAROOQ SHAHEED HELD IN LONDON

 

LONDON: 8TH NOVEMBER 2010:

A congregation was held London by MQM in connection with the Soyem of MQM convenor and Shaheed-e-Inqalab Dr. Imran Farooq Shaheed. The younger sister of Dr. Imran Farooq , his brother in law, members of the Central Co-ordination Committee of MQM in London, workers and office bearers of MQM UK  and a wide array of people from Pakistani community attended the Soyem and paid rich tributes to the martyred leader.

Pakistan High Commissioner in UK Waji Shamsul Hasan, Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Member National Assembly Makhdoom Jawed Hashmi, President of Muslim Leauge (N) UK Zubair Gul, Ex-mayor of Peterborough Choudhary Muhammad Ayub, Councillor of Labour Party Ms. Zakia Zubari, Queen’s Counsel Sibghatullah Qadri, Human Rights Activist Ansar Burney, folk singer Attaullah Khan Essa Khailvi, columnist and representatives of print and electronic media attended the Soyem.

MQM workers from Birmingham, Manchester, Shefiel, Glasgow and other parts of UK also came to attend the Soyem. After the recitation of the Holy Quran prominent personality Hafiz Masroor offered fateha for Dr. Imran Farooq shahedd.

 

MAKHDOOM JAWED HASHMI PAID RICH TRIBUTES TO DR. IMRAN FAROOQ

Prominent Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Member National Assembly Makhdoom Jawed Hashmi has paid rich tributes to the martyred Convener of MQM Dr. Imran Farooq. He said that the sacrifices rendered by Dr. Imran Farooq should serve as a beacon of light for others. He made this observation after attending the Soyem of Dr. Imran Farooq that was held in London.  Makhdoom Jawed Hashmi came to attend the Soyem despite his illness. He said that people like Dr. Imran Farooq were an asset for any party.Makhdoom Jawed Hashmi expressed his condolences to Mr. Altaf Hussain, members of Co-ordination Committee and all the workers of MQM. The Co-ordination Committee thanked Makhdoom Jawed Hashmi for coming to attend the Soyem despite ill health and prayed for his early recovery and good health.
