MQM leader Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the unwarranted and unprovoked attack and termed it an aggression on the national sovereignty and security. He endorsed the decision of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM to observe Monday the 28th November as a solidarity and stability day.

Mr. Hussain had also directed to taken down party flags from houses, buildings and other public places and raise the national flag instead in order to weld the nation into a strong bond of unity for defending the honour and sovereignty of the country.

Programmes were held throughout the country at the MQM offices, and national flag was raised with unfounded fervour. The main programme was held at the MQM Head Office Nine Zero in which a large number of MQM workers and sympathizers were present.

He paid rich tributes to the officers and personnel martyred in the unprovoked attack. He said that this challenge should be converted into an opportunity, and it should be made clear to the world that any adventure against the sovereignty of the country would be strongly dealt with.

He said that the nation should get united in order to make the defence of the country impregnable. He asserted that the MQM would not desist from offering any sacrifices.

He said that the army should not consider itself alone as the entire nation is firmly behind the armed forces.
