ALTAF HUSSAIN’S MESSAGE ON 21ST ANNIVERSARY OF PAKKA QILA HYDERABAD’S   TRAGEDY

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that those who laid down their lives while struggling for the rights of the people would never die. They have become immortalized. In a message on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Pakka Qila Hyderabad’s tragedy he said that the martyrs were priceless assets of the party and their unforgettable sacrifices will never go waste. The MQM would never cast into oblivion the sacrifices of its martyrs. He asserted that the sacrifices rendered by the martyrs would definitely bear fruit and the MQM would reach its destiny in the fullness of time. He prayed for the divine blessings for the martyrs and for patience of their family members

 

ALTAF HUSSAIN CONDEMNS BLAST AT HANGU DPO OFFICE

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has condemned the blast at DPO office in Hangu in which several people died and many others were injured. He said that the elements ruthlessly targeting innocent people were the real enemies of the country. The terrorists wanted to smear the name of Pakistan and create instability in the country. He termed the attack against the tenets of Islam. He called upon President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take serious notice of the Hangu blast and take every step for protecting the life and property of the people. He sympathized with the bereaved family members of those killed in the blast and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

 

MQM DELEGATION CALLS UPON PRESIDENT ZARDARI

A delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) headed by Dr Farooq Sattar called upon President Asif Zardari and expressed condolences on behalf of MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain over the death of Mr Hakim Ali Zardari. They prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. The other members of the delegation included Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Wasim Aftab, Special Assistant to the CM Sindh Ghulam Haider Rahoo, and office-bearers of MQM Nawab Shah Zone.
