MQM WILL WIN THE GENERAL ELECTIONS 2007 FROM ALL OVER PAKISTAN – ALTAF HUSSAIN

PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER PAKISTAN ARE JOINING THE MQM

Hyderabad – 3rd May 2006: MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has stated that the huge number of votes from Urdu Speaking Sindhis, Pashtoon, Baloch, Punjabi, Seraiki and specially the Sindhi Speaking Sindhis in favour of the MQM demonstrates that the oppressed people of Pakistan are rapidly uniting under the banner of the MQM and God willing MQM will be successful in the forthcoming general elections of 2007 from all over the country. He was speaking to the members of MQM Hyderabad Zonal Committee over the phone from London. He praised the office bearers and workers of MQM Hyderabad on the landslide victory and thanked the Allah Almighty that he has been blessed with a team of such hardworking and dedicated workers that not comprises of Urdu Speaking, Punjabi, Baloch, Pakhtoon, Seraiki and specially Sindhi Speaking Sindhis.

The example set by MQM today is being discussed by the workers of other political parties in Pakistan that despite their hard work why they are ignored and not awarded party tickets during elections. In every general election the party tickets are awarded to jaagirdars, waderas and rich; whereas, the Muttahida Quami Movement awards its party ticket to its workers on the basis of merit belonging to the poor and middleclass. It is for this reason that workers of other parties are now joining the MQM.  The people of Sindh have now understood that they have been hoodwinked for the past twenty five years in the name of Bhutto. He reminded the MQM workers to perform self-accountability and further improve their public dealings. He paid tributes to the workers who despite being attacked and injured by terrorists during the by-elections yesterday continued to perform their duties with determination, courage and resolve. He instructed the MQM Hyderabad Zonal Committee to look after the injured.
