I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY
MONEY FROM ANY AGENCY: ALTAF HUSSAIN

						London …. 11th March, 2012:
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Mr.
Altaf Hussain has said that he had never taken any money
or funds, whether directly or indirectly, from the ISI,
the MI or any other agency, or any functionary or
through or from Mr. Yousuf Memon Advocate. If Mr. Memon
had taken any money from the agencies or Mr. Younus
Habib, he should be held accountable so that the public
money belonging to the poor people of Pakistan could be
						returned.
In his interview to the renowned private satellite
television channel GEO, the former ISI Col. Akber has
categorically confirmed Mr. Hussain's blanket refusal to
accept any money from the Agencies, despite persistent
insistence from the Agencies to receive such money.
Collaterally, Mr. Yousuf Memon Advocate, in his
interview to the same television channel GEO, has also
denied giving any money to Mr. Hussain or anyone else.
The unequivocal and settled stance of Mr. Altaf Hussain
of not having received any money from the Agencies,
directly or indirectly, stands preeminently vindicated.
The above interviews of the former ISI Col. Akber and
Mr. Yousuf Memon Advocate now stand recorded in the
annals of the GEO television channel archives.
Despite, the above clarificatory statements Mr. Hussain
has further invited the Honourable Supreme Court to
initiate any further investigation or inquiry from the
said Col. Akber or Mr. Yousuf Memon Advocate into the
allegations in question, employing its own prerogative
						or discretion.
In the end, Mr. Altaf Hussain has breathed a sigh of
relief that both Col. Akber and Mr. Yousuf Memon
Advocate were alive and hence there was no impediment in
the Supreme Court recording their statements, in case
the Apex Court entertained any doubt in this regard.
