BLAST IN SAWABI WANTON ACT OF TERRORISM: ALTAF HUSSAIN

CONDEMNS BLAST ON THE DAY THE NATION IS PRAYING FOR THE VICTORY OF THEIR TEAM

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has condemned the bomb blast at a police check post in Sawabi on the day of the semi-final cricket match between Pakistan and India. Expressing his grief and sorrow over the death of police personnel in the blast he termed the blast as dastardly and wanton terrorism. He deplored that while the whole nation is praying for the victory of their team in the semi-final match, the terrorists are busy in creating turmoil in the country. He offered his condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family members of those who have lost their live in the blast. He demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Governor and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah to take strong steps against the terrorist elements that are hell-bent to wreak havoc in the country.

 

 

ALTAF HUSSAIN CONDOLES THE DEATH OF LIAQUAT SOLDIER

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his condolences on the death of noted stage artiste and comedian Liaquat Soldier. He said that Liaquat Soldier entertained the people in the country as well as abroad for decades and the void created by his death will not be easily filled. He sympathized with the family members of the deceased artiste prayed Allah to rest the soul of Liaquat Soldier in eternal peace.
