MQM WILL CHANGE THE SYSTEM: DR FAROOQ SATTAR

LAHORE: 24TH MARCH 2011

The Deputy Convener of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar has said that the Pakistanis are united and they will not allow any conspiracy against the country to succeed. He was speaking after the inauguration of a unit office of the MQM in Defence Lahore. Dr Sattar said that the MQM will establish an equitable system in the country in which all the citizens will have equal rights. The MQM will bring a system in which the children of the rich and the poor will study in the same school.

Dr Sattar said that the MQM does not believe in the mere change of faces rather it seeks to change the decadent feudalistic system in the country that will empower the farmers. He said that the public meeting being held by the MQM on 10th April will clearly demonstrate that the people of Pakistan are uniting under the leadership of Mr Altaf Hussain and they will defeat every conspiracy against their country with their unity. He declared that the public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan will create a history.

Speaking on the occasion member of the Co-ordination Committee Iftakhar Akbar Randhawa said that the MQM will bring a revolution in the country and it will recover every single penny that has been looted from the national exchequer.  He advised the police and other agencies to refrain from harassing the MQM workers and warned them against registering false cases against them at the best of the feudal lords. He said that the MQM should not be considered as a political party limited to Karachi alone. He declared that the huge public meetings at Bhit Shah and the National Solidarity Day programme in Karachi have amply demonstrated that the MQM represents all the people of the country irrespective of caste, colour, creed and religion. It is a party of the people of Pakistan.
