ALTAF HUSSAIN CONDEMNS ASSASSINATION OF SHAHBAZ BHATTI

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain has condemned the assassination of Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti in a murderous attack in Islamabad. He termed the murder as dastardly and open terrorism. He expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the family of the deceased minister and offered his condolences. He demanded of President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani to take serious notice of the murder and ensure security and safety of the minorities in the country. He said that the assassins should be brought to book and given exemplary punishment.

 

SALEEM SHAHZAD CONDOLES BROTHER OF SHAHBAZ BHATTI

Member of Co-ordination Committee Mr Saleem Shahzad telephoned Mr Sikander Bhatti, the brother of assassinated Federal Minister for Religious Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti and offered condolences on behalf of Mr Altaf Hussain. He said that those assassinated Mr Bhatti were open enemy of the country. He asked him to bear this tragic loss with courage and fortitude.
