TERRORISTS OF PPP GUNNED DOWN MOHAMMAD NASIR AND NOOR MOHAMMAD

The terrorists of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) gunned down Mohammad Nasir 18, son of Mohammad Ali a worker of the MQM Unit 32, Lyari Sector, Karachi, Pakistan and Noor Mohammad 35, son of Musafat Khan supporter of the MQM in Dhoobi Ghat, Lyari, Karachi, Pakistan last night.  According to details, on the evening of 7 March 2004, terrorists of PPP threatened the people of Dhoobi Ghat, Lyari to close down their businesses or face die consequences.  In the early hours of 8th March 2004, the armed terrorists of PPP came in the area and started indiscriminate firing on the people sitting there.  As a result Mohammad Nasir and Noor Mohammad expired on the spot and one person, Shoukat got injured.


ALTAF HUSSAIN EXPRESSES GRIEF AND SORROW ON THE TRAGIC MURDERS OF MQM WORKER MOHAMMAD NASIR AND SUPPORTER NOOR MOHAMMAD

Mr. Altaf Hussain, Founder Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has expressed his sorrow and grief on the brutal killings of Mohammad Nasir S/O Mohammad Ali, an MQM worker of Lyari Sector and a supporter Noor Mohammad S/o Musafat by armed terrorists.   Expressing his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the family members, Mr Hussain said, “me and all my companions share your sorrow”.  He prayed to Almighty Allah to bless the souls of Mohammad Nasir and Noor Mohammad, grant them high status in Jannat-ul-Firdaus, and grant solace and courage to family members to bear this tragic loss.  He also prayed for the early recovery of injured Mohammad Shoukat son of Mohammad Deen.


REPORT OF TERRORISTS ACTIVITIES OF PPP IN SINDH

London – 8 March 2004
The terrorists of PPP carried out terrorist activities in different areas of Karachi and interior of Sindh on 7 March 2004.  These terrorists attacked the house of Mohammad Tariq, MQM worker in Chakiwara, Lyari, Karachi.  Armed PPP terrorists fired indiscriminately in the area of Kala Board, Malir and injured the sister of a worker of MQM Labour Division.

In Mohabbat Nagar, Malir, the PPP terrorists fired on the vehicle of a pharmaceutical company.  As a result several people were injured including children.  The PPP terrorists injured Mohammad Rafique, a worker of MQM elders wing and killed an unknown woman in Bao Goth, Malir.  Mohammad Rafique is under treatment in Jinnah Hospital and is in serious condition.

Mahmood Akhter Naqvi and other armed terrorists of PPP carried out indiscriminate firing in Jafer-e-Tayyar Society, Malir, Karachi.

The PPP terrorists threatened to burn down the Khursheed Memorial Charitable dispensary of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF), the charitable wing of the MQM, in Chakiwara, Lyari, Karachi.

Sikandar Chandio and Mumtaz Jokhio, local leaders of feudal of PPP in Charo, Sindh, threatened Faheem Qureshi and Shahjahan Thame, the worker of the MQM, to burn down their shops.

In Dadu, Sindh the terrorists of the PPP are threatening the MQM workers.


PEOPLES PARTY IS RESORTING TO TERRORIST ACTIVITIES TO DISTURB THE PEACE – COORDINATION COMMITTEE

The MQM Central Coordination Committee has strongly condemned the brutal murder of MQM worker Mohammad Nasir and a supporter Noor Mohammad at the hands of armed terrorists belonging to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) at Dhobi Ghat in Lyari, Karachi.  They said that the PPP is destroying the peaceful atmosphere of Sindh under pretext of protest against the murder of Abdullah Murad, Member of Sindh Assembly.  The terrorist activities of the PPP indicate that the PPP is trying to destabilize the elected government of Sindh and is resorting to illegal and deplorable means.  The Coordination Committee said that such elements that do not hesitate to slay innocent citizens for their nefarious designs cannot be Muslims and are in fact not even human. 

The Coordination Committee demanded of the President General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Zafar Ullah Jamali, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad and Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Mohammad Mehar to take notice of the murders of Mohammad Nasir and Noor Mohammad, take legal action against those responsible for destroying the peace and to take concrete and positive steps to protect the life and property of innocent people.  MQM Coordination Committee appealed to the MQM workers and the public in general to remain calm and defeat the conspiracy of destroying the peace in Sindh.  MQM Coordination Committee offered their heartfelt condolences to the family members of Mohammad Nasir and Noor Mohammad.
