ANNIVERSARY OF MARTYRS OF 19TH JUNE 1992 OBSERVED BY THE MQM

KARACHI: 19TH JUNE 2011:

The 19th anniversary of the martyrs of 19th June 1992 was held by Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) throughout Pakistan including Azad Kashmir. Gatherings were held at the offices of the MQM in Interior Sindh, the Punjab, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir to commemorate the martyrs and fateha was done. Rich tributes were paid to the martyrs who laid down their lives.

The largest gathering was held in Lal Qila Ground in Azizabad Karachi. Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Anis Qaimkhani, members Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Dr Nusrat, Naik Muhammad, Salim Tajik, Touseef Khanzada, Kunwar Khalid Yunus, ministers, office-bearers of various wings of the MQM, and workers attended in large numbers.

Special prayers were made for the eternal peace of the martyrs and for the long life of Mr Altaf Hussain the founder and leader of the MQM.

 

ALTAF HUSSAIN CODOLES THE DEATH OF ELDER BROTHER OF PROVINCIAL MINISTER ABDUL HASEEB

LONDON: 19TH JUNE 2011: 

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has offered his condolences on the death of Abdush Shafique the elder brother Provincial MQM Minister Abdul Haseeb. He sympathized with the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

The Co-ordination Committee of the MQM also condoled with Abdul Haseeb over the death of his brother.

 

ALTAF HUSSAIN GRIEVED AT DEATHS FROM ACCIDENT ON COASTAL HIGHWAY

LONDON: 19TH JUNE 2011:

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has offered his heartfelt condolences over the deaths and injuries resulting from an accident to a coach bound for Gawadar on the coastal highway. He said that the accidents on highways were increasing because of over speeding and reckless driving. He stressed upon the need of strict implementation of traffic laws in order to make the highways safe. He sympathized with the family members of those whose loved ones died in the accident.
