MQM DELEGATION CALLS ON CHAUDHRY SHUJAAT HUSSAIN

ISLAMABAD: 3^RD JUNE 2011

A delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) led by Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar called on President PML (Q) Chaudhry Shujaat and Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at their residence. The delegation stressed upon the need of increasing co-operation between the two parties. General Elections in Kashmir and the current political situation in the country were discussed in detail during the meeting. Both the sides agreed upon formulating a common line of action for improving the process of reconciliation in Punjab, Azad Kashmir and other provinces.

Chaudhry Shujaat thanked the MQM delegation for their visit. He assured full co-operation to the MQM from his party in the upcoming elections in Kashmir. The MQM delegation comprised members of the Co-ordination Committee Wasay Jalil, Wasim Aftab, Salim Tajik, Yousuf Shahwani, federal minister Babar Ghori and parliamentary leader of the MQM in Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Tahir Khokhar. MQM DONATES 5 LACK RUPEES TO NATIONAL PRESS CLUB ISLAMABAD

ISLAMABAD: 3^RD JUNE 2011 

A delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) led by Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar visited National Press Club in Islamabad and presented a cheque of five lack rupees for the press club from MQM founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain. President National Press Club Afzal Butt, Secretary Asim Rana, President PFUJ Pervez Shaukat were present on the occasion. Member co-ordination committee of MQM Wasay Jalil, Yousuf Shahwani and parliamentary leader of the MQM in Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Tahir Khokhar and in-charge MQM Rawalpindi Zone Zahid Malik comprised the MQM delegation.
