MQM CO-ORDINATION COMMITTEE WANTS ACTION AGAINST
ANP TERRORISTS CREATING BLOODBATH IN KARACHI

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the heavy firing on the MQM workers by armed terrorists of Awami National Party (ANP) in Orangi Town and adjoining areas. The Committee expressed its grief and sorrow over the deaths of workers and sympathizers of the MQM because of the heavy firing. The Committee said that the ANP had unleashed a wave of terrorism in Karachi and wanted to soak the city in blood.

The Committee said that a few days ago the ANP had wrought arson and mayhem in Karachi on the pretext of supporting the employees of Karachi Electric Supply Company. Today the ANP terrorists once against went on a shooting spree in Orangi Town, Qasba and adjoining areas resulting in the death of several workers and sympathizers of the MQM.

The Committee said that the ANP was looking at capturing Karachi by wielding firepower and it had colluded with other terrorists groups in the city for achieving its evil design.  While the ANP was fleeing from Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah instead of facing the suicide bombers, it wanted to bring Karachi under its control one way or another.

The Committee demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take action against the ANP terrorists responsible for bloodbath in Karachi. They called for the removal of all dens of terrorist activities in the city being run by the ANP.
