33RD FOUNDATION DAY OF APMSO BEING CELEBRATED TOMORROW

ALTAF HUSSAIN ASKS PARTY WORKERS TO MOVE AHEAD WITH DETERMINATION AND PERSEVERANCE
MESSAGE ON THE OCCASION OF THE 33RD FOUNDATION DAY OF THE APMSO

 

KARACHI: 10TH JUNE 2011

The 33rd Foundation Day of All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) is being celebrated today with traditional zeal and fervour. Workers conventions will be held throughout Pakistan as well as abroad in order to commemorate the foundation day. The main convention of the day will be held at Lal Qila Ground Azizabad in Karachi. The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain will address the gathering on telephone from London. The address of Mr Hussain will be relayed to more than 36 locations. All the arrangements for the programmes have been completed.

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has felicitated the workers of All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) and all other workers and office-bearers of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) on the auspicious occasion of the 33rd Foundation Day of the APMSO. In his message on the 33rd foundation day Mr Hussain said that the brilliance of the light that was kindled in Karachi University on 11th June 1978 had reached in the length and breadth of the country. The achievements and the country-wide public appeal of the party and its revolutionary message were made possible because of the matchless sacrifices rendered by the martyrs, steadfastness of the workers and the prayers of the elders. Mr Hussain asked the workers of the APMSO and the MQM never to forget the supreme sacrifices made by the martyrs of the movement. He asked them never to cast aside the higher objectives and underlying political philosophy of the movement. He exhorted them to work with determination and perseverance and forge unity in the rank and file of the party.

 

ALTAF HUSSAIN GRIEVED AT THE DEATH OF 14 CHILDREN AS
 A SCHOOL VAN CAPSIZED IN A CANAL IN AZAD KASHMIR

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his grief and sorrow over the tragic accident resulting in the death of 14 children after a van having more than 20 children capsized in a canal in Mirpur Azad Kashmir. He sympathized with the mournful parents and other bereaved family members. He impressed upon the Azad Kashmir government to do its utmost in finding the bodies of the children that were drowned and washed away in the canal. He also called for action against the responsible people for the tragic accident.

 

AUSTRALIAN DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER VISITS NINE ZERO

The newly appointed Deputy High Commissioner of Australia Mr Paul Molloy visited the Head Office of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) today. He was received at Khursheed Begum Secretariat by members of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM Mr Wasay Jalil and Mr Kunwar Khalid Yunus. Deputy parliamentary leader of the MQM in the National Assembly Mr Haider Abbas Rizvi and Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh Mr Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan were also present on the occasion.

The meeting lasted for over one and a half hour and important issues such as the federal budget and the provincial budget of Sindh came under discussion. The deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and the growth of various mafias operating in the city were also discussed in the meeting. Changes in the behaviour certain ethnic groups were also discussed in the meeting. Mr Molloy was present the pictorial biography of MQM founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain.
