ALTAF HUSSAIN ASKS THE RETURNING FORMER WORKERS TO WORK WITH DETERMINATION

LONDON: 5TH JUNE 2011

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the MQM could not be finished despite the worst state operation and vitriolic propaganda that continued against it for many years. The MQM has spread in every nook and corner of the country and has become the centre of hope for the poor and middle class segments of the country. He was talking to erstwhile leaders of Haqiqi Muhammad Younus Khan, Feroze Haider, Iqbal Qureshi, Asif Shahryar, Abid Jafri, Fayyaz Khan, Nadeem Umer, Sohail Babu and others at Nine Zero. Members of the Co-ordination Committee and Aamir Khan who had re-joined the MQM a few days ago were also present on the occasion.

Mr Hussain said that despicable conspiracies were made to eliminate the MQM and various manoeuvrings were done against. The MQM not only emerged stronger and better organized but the senior workers who had left the party are coming back. He hailed the arrival of all and termed it as good for the party.

Speaking on the occasion all those who have re-joined the party said that they had made a fatal mistake by leaving the party. We stand repentant before the family members of the martyrs and the workers of the party. We were lost in the abyss of darkness but now we have seen the light. We will now work as humble workers of the MQM.

Mr Altaf Hussain accepted their apologies and reinstated all as a worker of the MQM. He prayed for them to remain steadfast and resolute.
