AUSTRALIAN DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER VISITS NINE ZERO

KARACHI: 10TH JUNE 2011

The newly appointed Deputy High Commissioner of Australia Mr Paul Molloy visited the Head Office of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) today. He was received at Khursheed Begum Secretariat by members of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM Mr Wasay Jalil and Kunwar Khalid Yunus. Deputy parliamentary leader of the MQM in the National Assembly Mr Haider Abbas Rizvi and Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan were also present on the occasion.

The meeting lasted for over one and a half hour and important issues such as the federal budget and the provincial budget of Sindh came under discussion. Mqm member also briefed about khidmate-e-khalq committee (KKF) charitable wing of mqm The deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and the growth of various mafias operating in the city were also discussed in the meeting. Changes in the behaviour certain ethnic groups were also discussed in the meeting. Mr Molloy was presented the pictorial biography of MQM founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain.
