TAKE NOTICE OF PLOTS TO INCITE SECTARIAN STRIFE IN THE COUNTRY: ALTAF HUSSAIN
APPEALS TO RELIGIOUS SCHOLARS TO MAINTAIN PEACE AND BROTHERHOOD

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has denounced and deplored the conspiracies to incite sectarian violence and spoil law and order situation in the country including Karachi. Mr Hussain said that some criminal elements wanted to inflame public sentiments and create a law and order situation in the country by targeting followers of different schools of thought.
Mr Hussain said that those who were targeting followers of various sects were open enemies of the country. He said that these enemies of the country wanted to destabilize the country and derail democracy by disturbing the law and order situation in the country through inciting sectarian violence. Mr Hussain appealed to the religious scholars of all the schools of thought to maintain peace, harmony and brotherhood among themselves as the holy month of Ramadan was about to start. He asked them to foil the wicked conspiracies by showing unity. He also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members of those who had lost their loved ones in sectarian strife. In Quetta Mr Hussain demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take stern actions against elements responsible for provoking sectarian violence and creating law and order situation in the country. He also called for immediate positive steps from the government to stop such incidents from occurring in future.
ALTAF HUSSAIN CONDEMNS KILLINGS OF MQM WORKERS IN SHERPAO COLONY

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the killing of two MQM workers Muhammad Azim and Muhammad Dilshad in Sherpao Colony Landhi. Azim and Dilshad were workers of Unit 80 of the MQM Landhi Sector. They were killed by the firing of criminal elements in Sherpao Colony. Denouncing the killings of both the workers Mr Hussain demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik And Chief Minister Of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah to bring to book the killers. Mr Hussain expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Muhammad Azim and Muhammad Dilshad and extended his condolences to the bereaved family members. He also prayed for the eternal peace and divine forgiveness for the slain workers.
