MQM TO SUPPORT POSITIVE ACTIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT BY REMAINING IN THE OPPOSITION: ALTAF HUSSAIN 

WELCOMES POSITIVE EMANATIONS FROM THE PRESIDENCY

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has warmly welcomed positive things in statement issued by the President’s House Islamabad. In a statement Mr Hussain assured President Zardari that the MQM would not only welcome positive action for the promotion of democracy, elimination of extremism and terrorism, restoration of peace and stability, economic advancement and prosperity but also support the government and all democratic forces in the country by remaining in the opposition.

The book “My Life’s Journey” containing autobiographical account of the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain will be launched tomorrow in Marriott Hotel, Karachi. “My Life’s Journey” is the English translation of the book published in Urdu by the name “Safr-e-Zindagi”. The book has been published by Oxford University Press. It covers initial phases of the struggle of Mr Altaf Hussain and it will be ideal source of information for anyone seeking insight into the development and progress of the political ideology of Mr Altaf Hussain. Members of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM and elected representatives will attend the program.

MQM HAS NO ORGANIZATIONAL SETUP IN ITALY

The spokesman of the Information Department London of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has clarified in a statement that no organizational setup of the MQM was functional in Italy. The spokesman made it clear that there was no organizational structure of the MQM in Italy as given to understand by some elements.
