I AM WARNING THAT THIS IS NOT 1992 OR 1995: ANIS QAIMKHANI

ATTACK ON NINE ZERO WILL BE A CONSPIRACY AGAINST PAKISTAN

KARACHI: 11TH JULY 2011:

Addressing an emergency Press Conference at the Nine Zero in the backdrop of cutting-off the telephone lines of Nine Zero, Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has warned that this is no 1992 or 1995. Mr Qaimkhani said that it is 2011 and if someone dared look upon the Nine Zero with an evil eye, it will lead to disastrous consequences.

“I am warning that if Nine Zero is attacked, it will be a conspiracy against Pakistan. What will happen afterwards cannot be imagined. I want to make it clear. We want to live and die in Sindh. Do not push us to wall. What you are doing will lead to the division of Sindh.”

“I want to make it clear that this is not the right path. Do you think that we can be bullied and browbeaten? If someone thinks that they can bully us with the goons and thugs of the gang war and Amn committee, they are mistaken. We will chase them to their holes.”

Mr Qaimkhani said that in the past the telephone lines of the Nine Zero were disconnected before starting the repressive operation against the MQM. We had credible information that a heinous conspiracy to attack the Nine Zero was hatched. Zulfikar Mirza met Afaq Ahmed and it was decided that the lines of the Nine Zero would be disconnected and the criminals and gangsters of the Amn committee and gang war would carry out an attack on the Nine Zero.

Mr Qaimkhani said that some leaders of the PPP were saying that the lines were no disconnected while Federal Interior Minister was saying that the lines had been restored. Let the PPP and its leaders themselves decide as to who is telling a lie.

Mr Qaimkhani said that some leaders of the PPP were saying that they do not know Afaq Ahmed but Allah has cursed the liars. Some are openly saying that they have been meeting with Afaq Ahmed.

Referring to the statement of a PPP leader that they would no longer appease the MQM, Mr Qaimkhani said that we had submitted our resignations and got rid of the PPP. We have submitted the resignation of governor Sindh as well. “Accept the resignations. Who is asking you to conciliate with the MQM?”

Mr Qaimkhani thanked the print and electronic media for its reporting and unearthing the conspiracy. He also appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of disconnecting the telephone lines of Nine Zero and to discover as to who made the conspiracy to soak Karachi in a bloodbath.
