WALI KHAN BABAR’S MURDER IS AN ATTACK ON FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain has condemned the gruesome murder of Geo News reporter Wali Khan Babar in Karachi and termed it as an act of terrorism. Mr Altaf Hussain said that the murder is an attack on the independence of journalism and freedom of expression. Mr Altaf Hussain offered his condolences to the bereaved family, journalists belonging to Geo News and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Mr Altaf Hussain demanded of the government to arrest the murderers of Wali Khan Babar.

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain has congratulated the newly appointed governor of the Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa. Mr Altaf Hussain hoped that as a representative of President Asif Zardari Governor Khosa will take active interest in the solutions of the problems being faced by the people of the Punjab.
