ALTAF HUSSAIN’S CONDOLENCE MESSAGE OF SALMAN TASEER MURDER

 

 

LONDON: 4TH JANUARY 2011:

 

MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has condemned the murderous attack in Kohsar Market Islamabad in which Governor Punjab Salman Tasir lost his life. Mr Altaf Hussain expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow over the incident and termed it as a point to ponder for the people of Pakistan. “This is an attempt to bring instability in the country and those involved in the attack are the enemies of the country”.

 

Mr Altaf Hussain offered his condolences to the family of the deceased leader, President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and the leadership and workers of Peoples Party over the sad demise of Governor Salman Tasir. He prayed for his eternal peace and demanded of the government bring to book the elements behind the shocking incident. He also called for taking concrete steps for defeating the conspiracies to destabilize Pakistan.

 

ALTAF HUSSAIN CALLS PRESIDENT ZARDARI FOR CONDOLING SALMAN TASIR’S DEATH

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain called President Asif Ali Zardari and offered his condolences over the martyrdom of Governor Punjab Salman Tasir. Mr Altaf Hussain termed it a national tragedy and said that he was personally grieved over the incident. He asked President Zardari to arrest the elements behind the killing. Mr Altaf Hussain has endorsed his support to the two weeks mourning announced by Peoples Party. President Zardari thanked Mr Altaf Hussain for expressing solidarity.
