DELEGATION OF FEDERAL MINISTERS AND ADVISORS VISITS NINE ZERO

A delegation of federal ministers and advisors visited Khursheed Begum visited MQM Head Office Nine Zero on Sunday and met members of the Co-ordination Committee and MQM parliamentarians. The delegation included Shaikh Waqas, Sardar Shahjahan Yousuf, Ahmed Yar Khan Hiraj, Farooq Awan and other people. The MQM side included Kunwar Khalid Yunus, Gulfaraz Khattak, Babar Ghori, Dr Nadeem Ahsan, Rauf Siddiqui, Sufian Yousuf, Dr Abdul Qadir Khanzada, and Imamuddin Shahzad. Current political situation prevailing in the country and other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. Ahmed Yar Hiraj and Shaikh Waqas expressed their gratitude to the MQM leader Mr Altaf Hussain for supporting the demand for creation of a Seraiki and Hazara provinces.

Speaking on the occasion Shaikh Waqas said that the relations between the MQM and PML (Q) would become stronger. He said that the MQM had made the positive struggle on the national issues, and it had given a direction to the younger generation. He hoped that the political work of the MQM would continue to widen in Punjab.  Shaikh Waqas said that the government was sincere in the creation of new provinces, but it required the 20th constitutional amendment. He said that the process for the creation of new provinces should be simplified.

Senator Babar Khan Ghori welcomed the guests at Nine Zero. The delegation also visited the Central Information Department of the MQM and appreciated the work done in a systematic and organized manner.
