FOR A RIGHTEOUS STRUGGLE: ALTAF HUSSAIN
MESSAGE ON THE OCCASION OF YOUM-E-SHUHADA

LONDON: 8TH DECEMBER 2011 Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that thousands of workers of the MQM have set up an undying example for the coming generations by sacrificing their lives for the righteous struggle. They gave their lives but did not bow down before the forces of evil. The courage and staunch determination of such faithful and fearless workers was worthy of high praise. In a message on the occasion of the Youm-e-Shuhada Mr Hussain said that the MQM would continue its struggle against the medieval feudal system until it was abolished from the country. He said that the sacrifices rendered by his brother Nasir Hussain and nephew Arif Hussain, who were killed in a brutal manner after being arrested, had also become the part of the selfless sacrifices of the workers of the movement. Mr Hussain said that the successes obtained by the movement in its long journey from the APMSO to the MQM were made possible because of the altruistic sacrifices of the workers. He said that the MQM would not let the supreme sacrifices made by its workers go to waste, and the MQM would achieve its destiny in the fullness of time. Mr Hussain impressed upon the workers of the MQM not to forget the workers who offered the sacrifices of their lives. They should always be remembered. He also prayed for the divine blessings for the souls of the MQM martyrs.
