PAKHTUN COMMUNITY MUST FAIL THE CONSPIRACY OF CREATING ETHNIC RIOTS AND
OBSERVE SOCIAL BOYCOTT OF THE CONSPIRATORS

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) addressing the real followers of the samaritan and preacher of non-violence, the late Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan said that they very well know the ideology and philosophy of the late Ba’cha Khan and are also well aware of the fact that the late Ba’cha Khan was the believer in non-violence, reverence for humanity, peace and harmony. He also turned down all the offers of the British, the occupiers of the Indian Sub-Continent and suffered their atrocities but remained steadfast on his philosophy with valor. He lived a life of piety.

 

Mr Altaf Hussain further added that late Ba’ch Khan was not only termed as a traitor by the British during their Raj but also by their agent and co-opt Pakistani Establishment after the creation of Pakistan. He said on 8 August 1986, in a public rally at Nishtar Park he had publicly said that the allegations of treason leveled against Khan Abdul Ghaffar and Saeen G.M. Syed was baseless and without foundation which is on record in the newspapers. He further added that these personalities were not traitors but their crime was only that they did not trade their souls, conscience and not compromised against their beliefs and philosophies, as a result they were termed as traitors.

 

Mr Altaf Hussain stated that the elected representatives of the MQM in the Local Bodies Assembly in Karachi had a resolution passed for the creation of “Ba’cha Khan” which was vehemently opposed by the agents of the Establishment and the parties on the payroll of the Establishment. He added that a few people against the central and stated policies of their parties are colluding with the same elements politicking in the name of late Ba’cha Khan who termed him as traitor and opposed the creation of “Ba’cha Khan Chowk are conspiring to create ethnic riots between Pakhtuns and Mohajirs in Karachi under the rubrics of “demands”. He vehemently said that it is the duty of the real followers of the late ba’cha Khan to inform the Pakhtun Community of the heinous intentions of these conspirators.

 

Mr Altaf Hussain appealed to the Pakhtun Community living in Karachi to fail the conspiracies of the conspirators and of such parties scheming an ethnic riots between Pakhtun and Mohajirs and such parties and also observe their social boycott who were falsely propagating to prove late Ba’cha Khan and Pakhtun nation as traitor. He further added that he believed that the Pakhtun Community is peace loving and do not wish to engage in rioting and are well aware that a handful of people desire to blight the name of Pakhtun Community by creating murder and mayhem to serve their vested and heinous interests. Concluding his statement, Mr Hussain appealed to the Pakhtun and Mohajir community not to get provoked by as a result of the conspiracies, remain patient and exercise total restraint and strengthen the unity of Pakhtun and Mohajir communities by their positive acts.
