MQM CONDEMNS NEW WAVE OF TERRORISM IN KARACHI

KARACHI: 9TH AUGUST 2011

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly flayed the acts of terrorism in different parts of Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi in which a worker of Scheme 33 Sector and a sympathizer of Federal B Area Sector of the MQM have been killed. The committee also condemned serious injuries to six other sympathizers of the party in firing incidents.  The committee also condemned the killing of an MQM sympathizer in Metroville area of Orangi Town by armed terrorists.

The Co-ordination Committee said that after creating bloodshed and mayhem in Qasba Aligarh, Kati Pahari, Gulfamabad, Malir, and Landhi the anti-peace elements had once again become active in order to provoke violence and bloodshed in the city.

The Co-ordination Committee said that the MQM had been given enduring sacrifices for the sake of peace in the past as well, and it would spoil the vicious attempts to stir bloodletting and violence again. The Co-ordination Committee asked the MQM workers to bear with patience and defeat the plots of the conspiring elements by maintaining unity and remaining peaceful.

The Co-ordination Committee sympathized with the grieving family members of those killed in various parts of Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The Committee also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
