ALTAF HUSSAIN DEPLORES KILLING OF WORKER IN LIAQUATABAD
KARACHI: 17TH APRIL:
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has deplored the killing of Ayub Raja s/o Ali Shair who was a worker of unit 143 – A, New Karachi Sector. He expressed his profound sympathies to the bereaved family members of the deceased worker and prayed for his eternal peace.
Ayub Raja was killed by the firing of two unknown terrorists riding a motorcycle when he was sitting in his paint shop in Liaquatabad adjacent to Daak Khana Chowrangi. Ayub Raja died on the spot. He has left behind a widow and four children. He had been joint unit in-charge of unit 143 – A. He was buried in Siddiquiabad graveyard. Advisor Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan and office-bearers of Karachi Tanzimi Committee and New Karachi sector attended the funeral and burial.
The Co-ordination Committee has bitterly condemned the killing of Ayub Raja and said that innocent workers of the MQM are being made target of terrorist attacks in order to destroy the peace of the city. The Committee demanded of Governor Sindh Dr Isharat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of the killing of Ayub Raja and take steps for safeguarding the life and property of the citizens.
WASAY JALIL CONDEMNS MURDER OF FOR UC NAIB NAZIM OF GULSHAN TOWN

Former Nazim Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town Wasay Jalil and Naib Nazim Shoaib Akhter have strongly condemned the murder of Junaid Zahidi, former Naib Nazim of Union Council No 7, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town. In a joint statement they said that the murder of Junaid Zahidi is a part of the vile conspiracy to create disturbance in the city. They expressed sympathy to the grief-stricken family members and demanded of Governor Sindh Dr Isharat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of the dastardly murder and arrest the killers.
MQM SENATORS THANK THE PEOPLE OF THE PUNJAB

Senators belonging to the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) have thanked the people of the Punjab for making the public meeting of the MQM “Stabilizing Pakistan” in Lahore a big success. In a joint statement they said that the success of the public meeting in Lahore reflects the rising popularity of the MQM and the integrity of the philosophy of Mr. Altaf Hussain. They said that the path to the revolution of the poor and middle class, of which Mr Altaf Hussain is speaking, passes through the province of the Punjab. They said that the acceptance and love that the people of the Punjab have showered has blown the trumpet for the end of the medieval feudal system and unrestrained capitalism and a revolution of the poor and middle class has become the fate of the country.
